Before the museum’s opening on the 30th March, we have a special event to which everyone is invited. Glennis McClemont will talk on the work and life of John Buchan’s sister, Anna. She was a successful writer but to avoid “competing” with her brother wrote under the pseudonym of O. Douglas. Glennis, a member of the John Buchan Society, is renowned for her knowledge of Anna. Buchan and we look forward to an enlightening and entertaining talk – in Glennis’s own words  “A Chat to Chums” – on the 22nd March at 2.00pm in the Tweeddale Museum, High Street, Peebles.
